Real Madrid vs Xerez

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema says that winning the UEFA Champions League would be a dream come true and he believes that his side are capable of helping him realise that dream.

"It would be a huge dream to lift the Champions League trophy. Now I'm on a team that has the ability to win the premier club competition and that always generates expectations and, above all, a great responsibility," Benzema told the club's website.

He believes that his side has the quality to win it and says he isn't concerned about the number of goals he scores as the team is most important.

He continued, "I am fortunate to have colleagues of tremendous quality. I haven't got a number of goals in my head as the collective contribution of the team is all that matters," before going on to say that he expects his team to continue improving, starting with Xerez in the Primera Division on Sunday.

"I think against Xerez we will be better than against Deportivo La Coruna. A stadium like the Bernabeu makes you want to play well and score as many goals as possible."

AC Milan vs Bologna

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has hailed Filippo Inzaghi's contribution to the team as he looks ahead to this weekend's game against Bologna.

Inzaghi's brace fired Milan past Marseille in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and Silva believes there is more to come from the legendary striker.

"The team has shown some excellent play. Playing alongside Inzaghi is a great satisfaction. He is a big player, a great person. He always makes himself ready when on the pitch," the defender told Milan Channel.

"He always makes the best from chances and I hope he scores plenty in our next game."

That game will be against Bologna who have yet to record a win this season. However, Thiago Silva has asked for caution.

"It will be a very important game for us. We have to rediscover our winning ways in the league because we have not won since week one," concluded the defender.

Cagliari vs Inter Milan

Former Inter goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca believes Cagliari can hurt the Nerazzurri if they take advantage of their guests' Champions League tiredness.

The Italian believes his old side will not be at their peak because of the energy they spent during the Barcelona clash.

"Of course Cagliari are not favourites to win, but Inter will have their batteries near empty after their cup match," Pagliuca told Tuttocagliari.net.

Pagliuca believes the game may be decided by the goalkeepers, hailing Julio Cesar and the highly-rated Federico Marchetti.

"Both teams have excellent players. I have always praised Cesar, but I think Marchetti will find it difficult to prove himself further. He is a great 'keeper - his performances from last term show that," concluded the former international.

Roma vs Fiorentina

Fiorentina playmaker Stevan Jovetic is hoping to be the protagonist against Roma when the two sides meet on Sunday night.

Jovetic, who has good memories of ties against Roma, is hoping to leave a decent performance in the minds of the fans once again as he aims to stamp his hallmark on the game.

"We played a great game against Lyon despite the defeat, and so we will be more motivated against Roma," the youngster told the press.

"We know they are a great team with great players, but our objective is to win. I didn't see their game in the Europa League, but I am sure they played well, they always do."

Both teams are seen as worthy contenders for fourth place this term, but Jovetic does not feel this game will have any significance on the top-four race.

"We are playing better, I think the top three will be Milan, Inter and Juventus, and maybe we can get in there too. I don't think this is a play-off for fourth place," concluded the Montenegrin.
